A Voices Unheard Films banner in association with Akshaya Sawant presents a unique creative documentary depicting a profound look at the direct human impact of global warming. Globally farmers are being impacted and in some countries, the rate of suicides is highest in this community that serves us with the most basic human need - Food. The film focuses on the villages in the state of Maharashtra , India which on one hand has the neo-rich of Bollywood in metro cities like Mumbai and in others this stark contrast & human pain of poverty. Relevant in the current times wherein the deep realization has set in of the critical importance of basic needs like food and nature . Intimate and eye-opening, Talking To The Wind shows the social and psychological effects of climate change as it impacts identity, the idea of masculinity, and the pressures of social structure.
